Education and Information to Sustainable Waste Management - Gornji Kneginec, Jalžabet, Sveti IlijaContract reference number: KK.06.3.1.07.0017reduce | reuse | RecycleThe area includes three local self-government units in Varaždin County: Sveti Ilija, Gornji Kneginec and Jalžabet.
In the coverage area according to the 2011 census, 12,475 inhabitants resided in 3,777 households.The aim of the project is to inform 100% of inhabitants of Sveti Ilija, Gornji Kneginec and Jalžabet about waste management methods that lead to a reduction in the amount of waste landfilled through landfills through 5 mandatory and 8 recommended information and information activities.
Along with the informative activities the project includes activities of promotion and visibility and project management.
The knowledge acquired will be used by citizens to change their daily living habits and to adopt the importance of responsible waste management in the sense of sustainable development of their local environment.
The total value of the project amounts to HRK 461,936.52, of which own co-financing amounts to 15%.The project was co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund.The content of mobile applications is the sole responsibility of the Municipality of Sveti Ilija.www.razvrstaj.eu
